150th Melbourne Cup Winner Rundle chance

Rundle is racing St Leger Stakes this Sunday at Flemington. Rundle is a three year old thoroughbred race horse that has the potential to be a Melbourne Cup winner. The owner of the thoroughbred race horse is none other than Lloyd Williams.

Lloyd Williams is a owner of many thoroughbred race horses. He is also a businessman and an Australian Property Developer. He went to college at Xavier College in Melbourne. He is the founding father of the Crown Casino in Melbourne.

Williams also owns and breeds thoroughbred race horses. He has won the race that stops a nation on three seperate occasions. He won with Just A Dash in 1981. He did it again in 1985 with What A Nuisance and in 2007 with Efficient. This year Williams might do it again with Rundle. It all depends on how the horse performs this weekend.

Williams will be on the lookout on three stayers imported all the way from England. The three lighly raced horses were bought as 3200 metre race horses and are a potential in the Melbourne Cup.

Being a Melbourne Cup Winner is not an easy task. Bart Cummings who is a famous trainer has done it a massive 12 times and also been the trainer of 7 Caulfield Cup Winners. Williams also has a few more European gallopers called Alandi and Mourayan. They are all chances in the 150th Melbourne Cup this year in 2010.
